wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before i started coloring, i used to do plastic canvas stuff( which has to do with a needle and yarn, and plastic canvases ,i'd draw a pattern rather than follow a pattern book and instructions then trace it onto a plastic canvas then cut it out and fill in the empty squares on the canvas.it has a pixelization feel to the process, but i had fun rather than a headache of following instrution booklets on creating household crafts) anyways i started doiung this in 199o, then when my son was born, i used to do sesame street stuff and barney, but when pokemon came out, i started doing pokemon ones. i must have like 40 plus pokemon pieces but i quit doing these in 2003 when i started coloring. hope you guys like it....i might post more if people like these. p.s. this piece is more than 3 feet tall and wide. and is my fave pokemon
yup...was fun doing it...as it's my fave looking pokemon
do you have any patter designs for these? My son would love any of the pokemon so I can decorate his room
okay thanks trying to do some neat patterns for my sons room he is a major pokemon fan. Can't say much I'm one my self.
hey....i went thru that with my son...he's gonna turn 22 april first and he's been a fan since the start... even going s far as getting the japanese games as to get a head start on everyone over here.....and nope he doesn't speak japanese, lol
I understand that. My son is only ten but he got hooked on them from a vhs movie that we found at the thrift store when he was 2. Right now going through some growing pains with it because some of the older kids are teasing him. They are trying to tell him that it is for baby's. I have used the pokemon to teach him to read and to do his math better. It has been fun.
my son tyler is still into pokemon...cartoon, movies and games and he's gonna turn 22...but then again, my son does his own thing....never been much of a follower to others... he shouldn't let others ruin his love for something....me, it was/is comic books and cartoons and i'm 51 next month.
I understand that my husband and I are into gaming systems and anime cartoons. He still likes his comics also and he turns 53 this year. If you really enjoy something you should never have to give it up. I enjoyed your tutorial on the plastic canvas projects can't wait to try it. Thank you for making it.
Hey! I love this. I just recently started doing a cross stitch pattern from Pokemon and trying to make my own patterns but having no luck. Are you sharing any if yours? I'd love to try some! They're so cute!

These plastic canvas works are amazing, you could totally sell them! I know a lot of kids who would want one. How long did each take you to make?
Hot dang, that is COOL! Are you going to try for all of the near-four hundred, or just a select few?
i stopped doing em in 2003 or so. they take weeks to do. so i'd rather color. but thx for the praise
this is so cool! do you have a raichu one?
